LOSS OF ELASTICITY

Everything starts at the cell level. Cells form, wear, age and die. Skin cells, of course, are included in this cycle. The main cells of the skin, Collagen and Elastin, also go through this process we call ageing. There are factors that accelerate this process, such as decrease in the main elements in the skin, accumulation of oxidant substances, and malnutrition, etc.

ELASTİKİYET KAYBI

There are many methods available for eliminating loss of elasticity. However, it should be noted that the factors accelerating cell death and preventing cell renewal must be eliminated first in order to maintain a healthier skin and look better than what the chronological age shows.

  •     Healthy nutrition should be ensured,
  •     Oxidants accumulated in the skin should be removed, and
  •     The main elements decreasing in the face over time should be replenished.

These steps are actually included in the Elasticity Loss treatment protocol. However, it should be kept in mind that these are the steps that we should always pay attention to in order not to experience the same problems later or to have a more quality ageing process, in terms of both skin health and beauty.

What can be done for loss of elasticity?

  1. SKIN CARE AND USE OF SKIN CARE PRODUCTS

In order to cleanse the cellular wastes, nourish the skin and replenish the decreasing elements, it is necessary to use skin care products and have Medical Skin Care periodically, depending on the condition of the skin.

  1. FRACTIONAL MICRONEEDLING RADIOFREQUENCY

The mechanism in all skin renewal systems is based on creating a skin damage and activating the self-healing mechanisms of the body against the damage.

Microneedling is a system that can allow the damage-healing mechanism to work effectively. It has 25 or 64 Golden needles on the tip. Radiofrequency is administered at the tip of the needle and along the needle line after the needle touches the skin. The procedure is applied on the entire skin or the problematic area after arranging depth and radiofrequency level depending on the thickness and problem of the skin. Considering the procedure is applied on the entire face, damage is created in approximately 15,000 spots and the skin is stimulated with Radiofrequency. In these 15,000 spots, the procedure allows for the beginning of the cell renewal called Fibroblast activation.

Loss of Elasticity may be decreased with newly generated cells stimulated by Microneedling.

  1. FRACTIONAL CARBON DIOXIDE LASER

It is based on creation of micro columns in the skin with the desired depth and intensity, using laser energy. Damage is created in thousands of spots of applications in order to eliminate damaged cells in a controlled fashion and to activate the healing mechanism. This way, elasticity can be improved with generation of new cells.

  1. PRP PLASMA

When a damage occurs in our body, platelets in our blood are the first to go to that area and initiate the cellular repair mechanism. PRP is a technique that mimics the healing mechanism of the body.

By means of special kits, the number of platelets in the blood is increased and they are separated. Controlled damage to the skin is created using various methods like dermarollers, dermapens, and needles during which the PRP prepared is administered into the skin.

Skin Elasticity can be regained by new cell activation.

  1. MESOTHERAPY

The philosophy of treatment in mesotherapy is the injection of special mixtures into the skin by microinjection, which helps cell regeneration and synthesis of new fibers.

Over time, the skin loses many elements, such as hyaluronic acid. If these substances that play a role in cell structure are missing in the skin, this mechanism may not work as desired, no matter how much new cell formation is triggered. Mesotherapy is an indispensable intermediate mechanism in skin renewal treatments.

This process on the face is also called mesolift. This injection into the dermis stimulates cellular metabolism and paves the way for revitalizing the tissues. This is intended to increase tightness of the skin, maintain moisture balance, reduce wrinkles and large pores, help collagen production and accelerate cell cycle.

There are different cocktails available, which can be injected in sessions depending on the age of the person and the needs of the skin to reduce Loss of Elasticity.

  1. CARBON PEELING

Carbon Peeling is a skin rejuvenation treatment performed by combining carbon masks and lasers pulsing in one millionth of a second.

Combination of laser energy and carbon mask result in a sudden heat, helping remove the skin’s upper dead layer with the evaporating carbon. Also, the photoactivation effect of the laser is utilized, which enables cell renewal. This contributes to the development of elasticity by triggering collagen production in the skin.

Photoactivation effect allows for reduction in the loss of elasticity.

  1. FOCUS ULTRASOUND (ultherapy)

A non-surgical skin tightening method, Focus Ultrasound, a.k.a. Ultherapy, aims to treat the loosening and sagging of the skin caused by time and gravity. In ultherapy, sound waves are focused on 1.5-3-4.5 mm depths of the skin. The waves sent under the skin cause heat damages on the skin, helping strengthen the subcutaneous connective tissue.

  1. THREAD APPLICATIONS

It is one of the methods used to treat elasticity loss problems as it can be used for increasing elasticity and solving problems of skin sagging, if any, both at the same time.

A detailed evaluation of skin structure and degree of deformity by an experienced physician will determine which method will be used and how it will be used to remedy the loss of elasticity. Combination treatment can also be performed. It is necessary to arrange individualized programs.
